Video Surveillance

 

 

The Cannon County Board of Education reserves the right to make and use video recordings on school property and on school buses. Accordingly, the Board authorizes the installation of video cameras on school property and on school buses to protect the safety and security of students, staff, and property. The video recordings from these cameras may be used to assist school administrators in deciding upon appropriate disciplinary action, or for other appropriate purposes as determined by the school administration. All video created by or for the district is the sole property of the district and is created for the sole use and benefit of the district for its own purposes. No other person or entity should rely on the existence or retention of video for any other purpose.
